Beautiful Rare Retro Vintage 1979 Gios Torino Super Record Racing Bike Original. Eroica ready and fully rule compliant. The Gios name is one of the great pillars in Italian cycling history and culture, and the Gios Torino Super Record is a true monument of its time.
Manufactured between 1973 and 1982. The Gios Torino Super Record is - thanks to great riders like Roger De Vlaeminck - one of the most winning and most admired racing bicycles of all time.Built with light and sturdy Columbus SL tubes ever since, the first models were built between 1973 and 1977 and ridden by the Brooklyn professional team. The bike is the 2nd generation Super Record, produced between 1979 and 1980, with the typical coin badges on the fork crown, non-reccessed brake bolts and the white stickers. This bike is similar to bikes ridden in the 1970s by the famous Roger De Vlaeminck of the Brooklyn pro road team in Tour De Frances and European classics you will not find a more original and well looked after bike, its been fully professionally serviced and polished. Frame sizes 58cm Seat tube ctc 57cm top tube ctc. Beautiful original frame paint work and decals which shows authentic marks for age of bike, no de nts or perforations the frame and forks are made from Columbus SL tubing, Campagnolo drilled drop outs.

New white Sella Italia Turbo saddle. Period correct Cinelli 1a stem with old style name marking and font. Mint Cinelli Campion del mondo bars. New Vittoria Corsa Tyres (Clinchers 25mm).
Bikes comes with extremely rare Campagnolo chain stay protector, Campagnolo toe clips, straps and strap buttons. Period Correct Reg bottle cage.
