Gibson 1982 Vintage Flying V - Natural CMT "The V" - Rare - Super Clean. Up for sale is my beautiful 1982 Antique Natural GibsonCurley Maple Top The V in near perfect condition.

If you are familiar withthis model, you will know they were built between 1981 and 1983 (1984 wasapparently the only actual year of the CMT, however The V model were allcurly maple topped guitars so the 81 to 83s are commonly referred to CMT aswell) and came in three colours, Tobacco burst, Cherry Sunbust and AntiqueNatural. These antique natural ones are extremely rare.

Of the4 I have owned this is by far the cleanest. I would rate it a 8.5 to 9 out of 10mainly because of an added strap hole (see pic). I have all kinds of claimsover the years including one that there were only ever 12 built in this colour. I think that is pretty unlikely seeing I have owned 4, however, they show upway less than the other two colours of which I have also owned several, so itis definitely a rare and beautiful beast.

This also has the cleanest vintageGibson V Case I have ever seen, and I have seen a hell of a lot of them. Everything is 100% original including the windouttuners that are unusual for this model. I have owned a lot of Vs in my time and this was one of thespecial ones I have tried to hang onto.

Alas, tough times call for moving somethings onto a new owner. Hopefully whomever buys it treats it with the respectits been shown since it came off the production line.
