Vintage (Rare) Pilot Quick Built Series Twin Ace RC Twin Engines Sporty Model. I received this kit (and others) as a gift from an uncle many years ago. Unfortunately (or not, depending on your desire to have this kit), it is a hobby I never took up.
That said, it's now listed for sale exactly as it was given to me; so this is an "as is" listing. I cannot guarantee completeness of the kit, I only presume it to be. To the best of my knowledge , this is a complete kit insofar as it includes everything required to build the air-frame ONLY.
The box contains, as far as I know, the necessary wood to build the model; the plastic canopy; the plastic engine nacelles; prebent struts and other hardware, etc. There are a number of original, (still) sealed bags with various elements in them hardware, metal elements, wood pieces, etc.
As you can see from the photos, the box is in acceptable condition, with various markings tape pull-off, etc. The wood within the box seems to be in good shape, free of mold and breakage as far as I can tell; the parts that are pre-cut and in frames are still in those frames. The prebent struts, despite being bagged, do appear to be weathered (as well as a longer piece of metal rod that's "free" within the box); I believe they are still structurally sound (this kit and others that I've listed were stored in a partially finished/not all-the-time climate-controlled basement, unfortunately). The canopy is intact and without scratches as near as I can tell (it's blue tinted--I suspect the original color). The engine nacelles (visible in the photos) are white (presumably not discolored, or not discolored to any marked degree) and are intact.The blueprints/instruction sheet are folded and are, as a result, fairly well creased from time; while not perfect there may be some tearing at the edges, etc. , they are very much readable and usable. As mentioned earlier, this is an air-frame kit only , and would require additional elements to complete a working R/C model. Condition is Used (un-assembled kit, opened box; "used" because I don't know if it was ever sealed in plastic).
