Only 20,000 were made. This was designed by Jef Raskin, who worked on the original Macintosh (you can see the resemblance). As a word processor, it is very innovative and has a highly intuitive interface that is very addictive.
The keyboard has a great feel (or I like it, anyway). Some of the keys feel a little stiff, possibly from lack of use, or possibly that they were meant to have a nice chunky feel. The body has some damage, mostly on the front-right corner as shown. Otherwise, it has minor typical wear and possibly some dirt/dust.Comes with power cable, but no other accessories or original materials. PLEASE READ: The Canon Cat is fully working as far as I can tell, except that the proprietary floppy drive has issues, like pretty much all Canon Cat floppy drives do. I performed the repair outlined in the link below -- the plastic tab holding the drive head mechanism in place has been replaced with a stronger metal tab. The mechanism now goes back and forth and the drive acts like it is reading/writing, however it gets an error and doesn't actually read/write.
In the video I state that the drive is untested, and that is because I tested/attempted repair afterward. I hate to let this go! Let me know if you have questions!
