Gretsch Super Rare! Round Badge Peacock Sparkle Bongos And Stand 8+ 6 Vintage

ROUND BADGE PEACOCK SPARKLE BONGOS w STAND 8 + 6. They are in Overall Very Good used condition for their age, and show normal use, with some minor loss of color to the sparkle wrap in one or two places (for instance, near the bottom edge, or under the mount to the stand), but no missing pieces, or tearing away of the wrap from the wood. The drum sizes are 6 (head) x 5 3/4 (deep) for the small drum, and the large drum is 8 (head) x 5 3/4 inches (deep).

The small drum has 4 lugs and the large drum has 5 lugs. The small drum did not come with a badge installed. There is a badge on the large drum.

There is the correct grey paint, that is slightly worn away in spots, but is certainly almost all there. There are even some paint drips from the factory. There is some what appears to be minor separation of the plies in some of the places of the shells, but when you look up close, it really looks like the wood has shrunk over time, and the plies are still intact with no issues.

Again, there are no cracks or issues with the wrap, so it would be a little abnormal to have issues with the wooden shell, but feel free to ask questions about this if you need to. It appears to be the factory original stand, in overall very good condition. It is a lightweight stand. There is some very minor light pitting on the chrome in some areas, but it is really in good shape for this old of a stand. The head on the small drum is a Clear Evans Oil Filled Hydraulic head, and the head on the larger drum is a Remo Emperor Clear head. Both heads are in fine working order, and you can use the drums right now, with no issues. We have not taken either head off of these drums, so please be advised, we cant guarantee how hard it will be to find or replace the heads on these drums. Both of these drums have the claw style hoops and tension rods, so sometimes having a perfect fit is hard to find. The head and the rims and the drums adjust to each other over time (like conga drums or hand bongos, and not like more modern, normal hoops). Please feel free to ask any questions.
