Believed to be from the 1970s, this bat is in a much-used and worn condition and currently has no grip, making it an ideal candidate for collectors or restoration enthusiasts. Their range of products includes wicketkeeping gloves, pads, and cricket balls. Notably, they produced a pair of 1950s Lyre Bird Wicketkeeping Gloves and junior wicketkeeping pads from the 1940s, showcasing their commitment to excellence. Bob Simpson, born on February 3, 1936, in Marrickville, New South Wales, is a legendary former Australian cricketer.

As a right-handed batsman and leg-spin bowler, Simpson had an illustrious career. He played for New South Wales and Western Australia in domestic cricket and made his Test debut for Australia in 1957, continuing until 1978.

Simpson captained the Australian national team from 1963/64 to 1967/68 and again in 1977/78. Over his career, he scored 4,869 runs in 62 Test matches at an average of 46.81, including 10 centuries and 27 fifties.
