Sansui Q-3535 and SP-220 Tube Amplifier CLEAN & WORKS Super Rare Vintage -READ

7/25/18 Update; The controls on the SP-220 have been serviced (cleaned & lubed) all noise while making adjustments has been remedied. Given their age additional cleanings may be needed to ensure all buildup is removed but definitely singing pretty now.

A video can be sent on request. I do have two of these in stock in working condition. I do have two fully functional and beautifully sounding Q-3535's in stock. Only difference is the plastic control knobs were replaced on one unit.

Sale includes the very rare Q-3535 "First Stereo Amplifier" along with the very rare SP-220 Pre-Amp. It is not very often either of these pop up and if so, rarely together. The SP-220 is in fine working condition as well. The one offered in this sale is slightly different than my other two having 5 lights along the top of the face as apposed to 3 and a more detailed, pretty face, for lack of better words.

Not sure if it was a special edition or what the significance of the difference is but it is a genuine SP-220 for the 3535. I will clean the controls on the preamp but may need followup treatment.

I got most of the scratch out of the bass control but just stating incase there is a little residual. Sound is fine once set. The only main issue to note is the power switch in the volume control does not work. You will have to use an external switch or repair the one on the unit. The unit is in the on until power source is cut off. I can sell you one of my other SP-220'S that does not have this issue, but again, this one is special. I would personally want this one. Units are in clean working condition. Although the unit powers on, produces clean output from both channels some expected care and upkeep should be expected given the age and nature of this item.

No further promises, warranties, or etc are offered. The tubes in the unit do work. They will be packaged properly and safely. I do not promise duration or longevity on the tubes. It is not bad, but notable when making some adjustments.
