Super Rare - Original "Underwood" Vintage 1930's or 40's Portable Typewriter Carry Case ONLY in Very Good Condition. This is a very rare opportunity to match your Underwood Champion typewriter to its original carry case and complete the set! A solid black, square wooden case with textured fabric covered exterior and beefy Bakelite carry handle with signature embossed UNDERWOOD name and polished silver-tone metal hardware / slide latch-lock (does not come with key).

A hinged frame with built-in metal mechanisms to secure the typewriter and silver-tone metal feet for base protection. An awesome carry case that would beautifully compliment your vintage Underwood typewriter on display or as home décor and would be perfect for safe storage or travel.

Measures 12 ½" H (15" with handle) x 13" W x 7" D (25 when open), weighs 4 lbs. Interior front pegs are 8 ¾" apart and 8" from back brackets. Note (images/condition) - case exterior has scuff & scrape marks, hardware shows patina, and the inside has a musty scent.
