This awesome mechanical never needs batteries. It stays wound with simple winding of the crown every day or every other day (I make no warranties as to the actual power reserve as your results may vary). I do not recommend over winding. There is just something very sleek & sexy about a watch that is basically self sustaining, especially with it's skeleton caseback which allows you to view it's intricate internals with 17 jeweled world famous Unitas 6498-1 movement as it goes about it's duty of precision timekeeping. As mentioned earlier, this amazing timepiece is in overall exceptional shape as it has been worn less than a few weeks and shows it.

Very limited, if any, obvious signs of it ever being used. There may be some micro scuffing on the side of case where it was set on a night stand during the brief period of actual usage. Leather straps look excellent with a minor indentation where it was fastened to buckle and some minor wrinkles to the leather from natural movement of taking off and putting on (going straight then forming a curvature around wrist) which is to be expected. All noted wear marks are miniscule and can only be seen under direct, close-up scrutiny. At an arms length glance while on the wrist it could easily pass for new.

If I failed to verbally mention something that you notice in pic's then you can consider it as described as the pic's speak for themselves. Power reserve is dependent on how much you wind it but, to be safe, please don't wind it too tight just trying to see what it's limited are.

I find 20-25 good twists usually will get you 24-36 hours of accurate time keeping. With that said, no warranties are made, expressed or implied as to the actual power reserve for the reasons stated above. Some specifics : Wa tch measures just over a substantial 1 3/4 or 44mm across case excluding crown and lugs. Width between the lugs is 23mm.

Leather straps are fully adjustable and will accommodate the majority of wrist sizes. Included is the awesome watch only (as seen in pic's/excluding background props). NO boxes, paperwork or cherry pie, etc.
