Super-Rare Vintage 1930's AMPERITE RIBBON Microphone, working great withdesk stand

Offering a super-rare & vintage 1930's era AMPERITE Ribbon Microphone. Based in New York City, Amperite produced some of the most unique and quality designs of its day, and quickly the name spread in the NYC night-club scene, public address, and broadcast/recording facilities.

This mic is the first of its kind I have ever come across, so it's either an undocumented Amperite model, a prototype, or perhaps a one-of-a-kind. [It does have some similarities similarities to Amperite's early RA-1 model, but more upscaled]. It's about the same size (and weight) of the RCA 44, and is in excellent working order. Check out the audio sample on the listing video. The overall physical condition is quite good as well, upper screens are clean and undented with a wrap-around chromed band to secure it.

It's hardwired to a short 12 cable with male XLR plug, and mounted to a robust chrome support yoke with side chrome thumbnuts. The heavy iron Altec desk stand is included. Overall height with stand is 13. NOTE: If you don't need the stand, we can credit you back for that.
