For sale is a Super RARE Vintage amber Glass Joe Di Maggio's on Fisherman's Wharf restaurant ashtray. The ashtray does have 2 very minor chips but are hardly visible. The one chip is on the top left cigarette rest edge and the second one is on the bottom right side on the foot edge. 3.75 inches x 3.75 inches. The piece is in overall good condition.

Please look over all images carefully. The ashtray is from Joe Di Maggio's Grotto, located on Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. The ashtray is yellow/amber and features, on the bottom, a sticker that reads Dining at Di Maggio's on Fisherman's Wharf 245 Jefferson St. The Italian restaurant was opened by Major League Baseball All-Time Great Di Maggio and his brothers, Dom and Vince, in 1937.

Many baseball players would visit the restaurant during the off season. After retiring from baseball and eventually marrying Marilyn Monroe, Di Maggio could be seen walking alongside Monroe.
