Super Rare Vintage Cartier Sterling Silver and Pewter Figural Fox Head Tray

Vintage Cartier tray with a fox head for its centerpiece. These trays have been commonly used as an ashtray or trinket dish and, now even better, a beautiful display piece. As indicated by the hallmarks visible on the bottom side of the tray, it is stamped with "CARTIER, " "STERLING TRAY, " and the number 74.

On the top side of the tray, along with its reflective silver, the commanding centerpiece is a pewter fox head. This marvelous period piece is in terrific condition with a warm patina to the mirror-like precious metal finish. It's a unique find to display and treasure.
