SUPER Rare Vintage Ghurka No. 174 Browser Marley Hodgson Laptop Bag 1990's

175 Vintage All Leather Exterior lined in Check Twill Laptop Bag with Leather Handles and removable (brass thumb clips) Leather Backpack Straps. As far as I can tell there are no other bags like this on the vintage market.

174 must not even being made anymore! There are no missing or worn leather tabs, stitches, holes, smells and the piping/binding is intact. There are some scuffs, an ink spot, brass petina in spot, the backpack straps are worn but still fair condition. Such beautiful craftsmanship on this bag.

The interior has 3 removable pads in the middle section (11" x 11") for a very small laptop or perfect for mobile devices like tablets. When this bag was made, there were no such thing as mobile devices like we have now it was made for a travel laptop.

There is a leather and brass snap "handle keeper" to hood two top handles together. I did not want to part with it - I remember the day I bought it in New York City. Even though I rarely used it after the 90's, I just couldn't let something so beautiful leave my possession... Until the first floor of our house on the coast was flooded in a hurricane (the bag was safely upstairs in the closet) and we had to relocate to another state and downsize.
