Super Rare Vintage Halloween Art Hardcover A Woggle Of Witches 1971 Please Read

This is a rare version of a vintage Halloween classic. The 1971 hardcover of this book is extremely hard to find today.

Even the paperback version that came out much later in 1985 is extremely scarce. Again, only a very precious few copies around.

That said, this is a former library book and has the typical issues associated with that. There was also a slight scent of damp when I first encountered this. I did use a hair dryer on it and it seemed to benefit enormously. I scrutinized to make sure I did not see any mold. I looked everywhere in the book including the page edges and do not see any evidence of that at all.

This could probably benefit from getting a good airing in bright sun or if you put it in say the back of your car a bit when warmer weather comes. Or perhaps you have other tricks for that. I always disclose everything I notice and I wanted to be up front about anything I noticed. Also, you can see children were loving on this book hard.

I photographed the entire book including every page and the outside. You will note how fantastic these illustrations are! The ones with the full moon are just wonderful. You can instantly see why this book has such a cult following! I will list condition as "acceptable" since it has the battering issues.

I still think it's a great find for the collector of those vintage Halloween rarities.
