This is an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING SUPER RARE Authentic Showa-era Decorative JAPANESE Bowl from Kuyama Kiln, a brand of Maehata pottery in Maehata-cho, Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture. A very HIGH-CLASS and Expensive square plate with a DELICATE and GORGEOUS gold brocade calico pattern beautifully spread throughout every corner of the dish. The sides of the four corners have beautiful yet dignified and tense curved lines, and the EXOTIC gold-colored calico pattern blends neatly into this very attractive dish. The bowl is in FANTASTIC CONDITION for the age of the piece. It measures approximately 6.5in x 6.5. I've looked and searched, but there have been NO OTHERS of this pattern I've found listed here in the UNITED STATES! This is the PERFECT ADDITION to ANY ASIAN Collection!
