For sale is this incredibly rare men's Seiko Automatic Sea Horse Waterproof Diashock 17 Jewels pre-62MAS watch. Using essentially the same dial, minus the date function, along with the same hand set, Seiko created this model, ref. Odds are, you will not come across another one of these offered for sale. I have had this in my collection for quite a while now and decided to present it to the open market.
This watch runs on the Seikomatic cal. 2451, the predecessor to the 6601 (some of these have a 6601, while others have a 2451, although it is correct and original to the watch). This watch is running, and has not been tested for accuracy. The service history is unknown. This one is a true barn find, one I was incredibly lucky to stumble upon. The case (measuring 37mm in diameter) has wear throughout, being that it was one of Seiko's first purpose-driven tool watches. The strap is a genuine, and fairly rare, Tropic Sport with the original "Acier" steel buckle. Review the photos, and be sure to contact me with any questions. I will do whatever I can to make things right.
