Vintage Joy Division Unknown Pleasures sweatshirt super rare. I bought this sweatshirt in'88 at Record Rack in Houston - must've been winter or spring since I didn't chop the sleeves off :... Good luck finding one of these, especially in this condition.
If you're looking, you know what you've got here - 100% authentic vintage sweatshirt. Its a 50/50 cotton/poly, the tag says XL, but check the measurements to make sure it will fit. That means its OLD - you can expect imperfections, lots of them. Holes, dirt, spots, you name it. Its not perfect in any sense of the word. I wore this shirt a lot. I wore it skating, I wore it to concerts, I wore it to clubs. That said this sweatshirt is in really nice shape - no rips or holes, some light pilling, and its not as black as it used to be, seems a bit faded, and the white screen printing is distressed - but that's sorta the point, right? The pics tell the story. This sweatshirt - along with all the others - has spent its life in the beautiful dry air and climate of Denver, CO - no rot, no mold, no moths, no bugs. It was in a sealed bin for years. It was washed in the past week in cold water, organic, scent free detergent and laid flat to dry. It comes from a smoke free home, but there are both both dogs and cats in the house, so not in any way pet free.Check the pics for exact measurements, condition, and sizing.
